Personally, I like Get Fuzzy, Garfield, Pearls before Swine, Calvin and Hobbes.

CALVIN AND HOBBES.
they are both cute and funny.
plus they teach you about living your life with a childlike twist.
it has a good intellectual humor which both children and parents alike can enjoy. great for homeroom or etiquette class.
