I do believe that there are strange things in our universe that we can not name. I will tell you that I have traveled through New Mexico a lot because my husband is a truck driver. We have both seen things that are unexplained in New Mexico. We saw really bright lights hovering over the inter state and then all of the sudden they shot up in the air in all different directions and then disappeared. Another time we were just out of Tucamcari, New Mexico and we couldn't use our cell phone. There was just a bunch of high pitched screeching on it. His CB radio started doing the same thing. We couldn't get any radio channels. Then all of the sudden everything worked. When we stopped at a truck stop another trucker said that we scared the crap out of him because my husbands semi-truck was lite up like a Christmas tree. He then said that like a ball of light flew up in the sky and disappeared. I have always been skeptical about aliens and that kind of stuff but I am not so sure about it any more.

My father saw one three months after I was born, and I've always believed him (this was my favorite bedtime story growing up) Two or three weeks ago we were watching an alien/UFO program on the History Channel, and they showed a clip taken from a Space-Shuttle mission, where the UFO flew one way, slowed down for a moment to turn around, and shot back in the opposite direction (the direction from which it came). My dad jumped off the couch and started pointing at the television, shouting "That's EXACTLY what I saw! That's it!!" I've never doubted him, and think it's cool that I now have a better idea of what happened all those years ago.

Nice...can you publish the pictures on line ?
I noticed that one of the answerer's seemed to think that UFO sightings only occured in North America, well, it is a global phenomenon, they are seen everywhere.
Seen some strange things myself in the nice clear skies around here, both in the day and at night and many people in a village nearby have seen them, it was quite a hot spot for a while.

If I remember rightly, wasn`t there a big sighting in Mexico City a few years ago ? Didn`t thousands of people witness some rather strange things in the sky ?
Anyway, a nice subject for a friday night...

I saw the tapes of the UFOs in Mexico, they looked a lot like Mylar balloons to me. I have seen much better videos before.

Yes I saw one around the western part of the Florida Panhandle. Many others have seen them here and on occasion there are gatherings of 'believers' on the beach in Pensacola in hopes to spot one.

It was square and there were lights on each corner. It slowly approached us and then hovered over us for a few minutes. It was at tree top level. I didn't believe my eyes and looked down to see a shadow on the ground in the moonlight.

Then suddenly it lifted away and accelerated at an angle and disappeared out of sight to the West. My husband saw it, my daughter saw it and I saw it. People laughed at us so we stopped talking about it until one of my daughters friends said he had seen it too, the 'square one', in the same area.

Yes, twice. We were outside in the afternoon and all saw the same thing. The other time was at night and it was getting power from high voltage lines at very low altitude and had a light that lit up our car.

When I was around 5 years old, I was standing on my slide on my swing set and saw a weird silvery whiteish tube thing in the sky. I don't know what it was, but I was young so I don't trust my judgment. I got really scared and ran inside. I wish I would have stayed out and watched.

I haven't but my mom promises she saw something hovering in one place for a while with bright lights. she reached for her camera and when she turned back around it had taken off. She said there was no way a plane or anything else eartly at the time could have remained motionless for that amount of time then leave with that amount of speed.

yes early one winter morning my daughter and I were waiting for her school bus to come in Palmer Alaska and so it is very dark here.Anyway we saw a bright small light high in the sky zig zagging all over and knew right away what it must be. We got goose bumps, but weren't afraid. It was pretty awesome!
