It is an urban myth to discredit gay people as being practitioners of wierd sex acts. Don't fall into the trap by spreading these myths

Year's ago (mid-80's) I worked for the Archdiocese in my city. I worked for the main office of a Youth Organization under Catholic Youth Services. I was in charge of our yearly dinner and it was my job to obtain a Master of Ceremonies - this person was always a local celebrity. As soon as my selection had been made public to our volunteer base, the rumors started flying and the Monsignor (the head of CYS) called me to tell me I'd have to contact this person and cancel him and find someone new. Evidently he'd received calls from our volunteer parents demanding that he was unfit to be associated with a Youth Organization.

For the life of me, I can't remember who I got to replace him, but I'm pretty sure it was a female local News celebrity. But I do remember that I was outraged that without any proof whatsoever, they were taking this rumor as truth. I know I argued this until I was blue, but ultimately I lost. At that point it didn't matter if it was true, it was the the theme of the rumor that couldn't be associated to our organization.

I can't remember if it was before or after the dinner, but one of my volunteers self-riteously stated to me on a youth outing that she knew first hand that this was a true story, because a friend of hers worked at the hospital where this person came in for emergency service. Funny though, because it seemed that everyone knew someone at some hospital that swore it happened there. It seems, oddly enough, that he must have been stupid enough to let this happen to him dozens of times and made it a point to visit a different hospital each time. And still people believed the story and probably still believe it today.

This person, although a pretty big deal here, didn't last long after this, but made it big elsewhere. I have no idea what the consequences were, or how it was that he came to leave our city. But this was a pretty big scandal - I'm not sure if it even made the papers, but it was everywhere in no time. I really should go do a search to see what's still out there on this rumor.

Edit: Hey I just did a search and it seems that this guy made it to the list with Richard Gere and someone from the Browns. It's all over and even made it to Wikipedia where, of course it was denounced as a cruel hoax.

My chum owns a puppy save and those str8 human beings are available in 2-thrice a week. My chum mentioned, watch they're going to purchase all my gerbils. lmao He mentioned they do it a week. So, i think of it must be greater then a gay component.

a south park episode....mr.garrison shoves a gerbil up mr.slaves rear-end in an attempt to prove that the school won't fire him because he is gay, regardless of the crude behavior he displays infront of the children. the gerbil later goes on a musical journey through mr.slaves digestive systems.

It's an urban myth. Don't believe it.

Look, I'm a bottom. I want some hot sausage up their - a gerbil just does not cut it. I'd be like - "is it in yet?"

I heard this stupid stuff too. You can not stick a gerbil up your rectum alive. The gerbil must have been dead.

While that was a funny South Park Episode...yeah, there really is no connection, at least not in the mainstream.
