Why are some people so ignorant? They ask for the truth then don't accept it!?

Maybe they don't REALLY want the truth...
Kindly go to my answers and see some of the pathetic questions that are asked and the follow up responce they share... Baffeling.- Am I the only one frustrated? I do respect alot of the answers and questions people present.
(I really do mean this in the nicest of ways...) Can you refer me to a rediculous post? Give me the title question and I can type it in the above tool bar... Peace :^)

I have some advice for you. Stay away from the religion topic, just skip it and don't bother to compose answers to it.

People are already "locked" into their own trip about their religious views, so even Elijah himself is going to sound like prattle when you post an answer. No one is listening.

Every now and then --rarely -- maybe twice a year but certainly no more often than that -- you may see a religious post and immediately think of a riotously funny thing to say. It's ok to do that. Otherwise, let people coast along on their groove until they go to sleep at the wheel and hit a tree or slide into a ditch.

If this seems hard to do and confining, be humble. If you can't do that, pretend to be humble. The greatest prophet said, "Not one of you is worthy, not one."

I don't have the time to go into all the questions you answered, but I can see from the first one that you are a Christian, and you seem to be enthusiastic about it. That's fine, but no one has a "monopoly on the truth". Not even you. So, perhaps people don't feel as though your answers resonate for them personally. Sometimes when I know I gave a really good answer to a serious question, but it was not chosen, I feel disappointed, but I shouldn't be since it could be of value to someone else.

A question that I answered less than two minutes ago qualifies: I think that the terrorist attack on 9/11 was just a show by US and Israel. Almost any post by Christian apologists qualifies also, but I don't criticize those because there is at least a chance that they may consider the answers and apply some logical thought to them.

People do not have to reveal who they are and so there will always be ignorant answers.

Because they really dont want the truth....the want really nice little white lies... they dont want to hear the truth because in their head they have come up with their own little reality. So they are not really looking for us to tell them the truth.
