I've had some symptoms of pregnancy this month (sore bbs, spotting) and today I'm supposed to get my period...I went to the ER yesterday because I had a pain in my left abdominal area and they gave me a urine test and it came back neg...they said their tests are really sensitive and it should show up..but i "feel" pregnant...is it all in my head or is it still possible?

Honey, of course you can be pregnant regardless of what the test says. Wait a few days and get one of the home pregnancy tests. Good luck!

No it is not all in your head,you may very well be pregnant.Maybe your hcg is not high enough to be detected.My sister was late for her period took a urine test and it was negative so she went to the er and they did a pregnancy blood test and it came back negative,well about 6 days after that she took another urine test and she was indeed pregnant after all.So dont just for the answer being no because you might end up getting a positive in a wk or so.

Well, all you have to be is a few days off, and the ER's test won't come back positive. I would wait a week or so and if you get no period, try another home pregnancy test. Good luck!

I've "felt pregnant" for three months now...negative. Same symptoms as you. Hormones can do crazy things. When I finally stopped trying to look for symptoms I finally got pregnant for real.
The only thing you can rely on is a positive test. if the test didn't detect the hormone, you are not pregnant, but if your period doesn't show up, test again is a few days.

Chances are you are not pregnant and what you are feeling is PMS.
But, my doctor told me that their tests are no more accurate or sensitive than over the counter.
A blood test is the most sensitive. My first urine test with my son was negative.

I was!
The hospital test (done as standard as was feeling ill) came back negative, and it was only three weeks later that I realised I had missed a vital girly occurance, the next three tests I did came back positive and I've now had a scan and heard her heartbeat... so I think that the hosp test may have been wrong!

I would retest in a few days and watch symtoms.... sometimes a tubal pregnancy will show as negative on tests. If symptoms persist mention the possability of a tubal pregnancy to ur doctor.

It is probably all in your head since the ER said that it was negative. However, there is always that slim chance so have a blood test done so they can check your hcg levels.

Its possible give your self a couple of days and then go to the doctor i did the same thing i took a test and it came out negitive then i took another and the same negitive i went back the fallowing monday and took a test it was positive. Good luck...

Your boobs could be sore cause you have not had your period yet, the spotting well it could be a number of things but I owuld wait and take a test first thing in the morning. You could be making your body think your pregnant so try to believe what the test says..............
