Mono is not contagious unless your sister shares drinks, silverware, food, cough or snezze, or kiss someone. It is probably not the greatest idea to send her to school. She can rupture her spleen if she is active or walking too much. Let her take it slow for a while.

Mono is an illness that makes a person extremely tired. I would let her set her schedule for a few weeks. If she has the energy to get up and go to school for a few hours, let her. When she is ready to come home be sure there is someone that can give her a ride home. Mono can cause health problems for a couple months. It is best to get all the rest she can initially.

Someone should also teach her about not sharing drinks!!

indications many times start to seem 4 to 7 weeks after an infection with the virus. indications which you will have mono comprise: consistent fatigue fever sore throat loss of urge for nutrients swollen lymph nodes (frequently pronounced as glands, placed on your neck, underarms, and groin) issues sore muscle tissue extra advantageous-than-regular liver or spleen epidermis rash belly soreness So, have you ever been around all people that regarded unwell 4 to 7 weeks in the past? it relatively is in all probability no longer the flu when you consider that flu season is over. And with a chilly, i do no longer think of your fever would've been that best. the different generic practitioner in all probability did no longer subject providing you with the try when you consider that mono has no scientific care besides and you purely would desire to enable it run its path.

She can go to school as she is able, but mono will make her VERY tired, so many people with it can only go for part of the day if at all. It's best just to listen to your body and do what you can.
