I've been using 'Veet for Men' to wax my bum, and i keep getting spots, its really anoying. it stays smooth for a few days but i get spots and they get sore and red. so Im just going to stop waxing and have a hairy bum i think.

But i just wanted to know if i can wax my bum with Veet cream and avoid the spots some how?... or is there a better way to wax?

Also what causes the spots?

I actually use the feet cream that your suposed to leave on for up to 4 minutes and you take it off with a spatula type thing, so i dont use razors.. that would be abit dodgy!

Hi JustMoi, Yes i have got some on my upper back aswel, and i am 24. So maybe it is just an alergic reaction to the chemicals?

This may sound gross, but do you have pimples on your back and/or bum? The reason I ask is because I find that most men under 30 do... whether they realize it or not because they can't see very well behind them, LOL
And if so... the chemicals could be too harsh on them causing irritation and causing what normally would be an overlooked slight blemish into a bright red, irritated and sore spot.

Another option are the bikini type trimmers - doesn't make you completely smooth, but no chemicals, no irritations and no cutting yourself and just getting the majority of it off is usually good enough for the visual aspect.
A razor always works, but you have to practice slowly to watch those delicate curves and getting in the crack (assuming you wanna clean that up, too). But another problem with razors and trimmers are they are rumored to make hair grow back darker and thicker, making it worse (although, I have yet to see any evidence in this).

there is a veet for men sh!t i was using the womens crap but yeah i would say go with the women's version or buy the razor that doesn't cut skin it is only for touch ups thats what i use and now my gf keeps playing with mey asss yeah um anyway you might also be leaving it on there for too long. oh but the first time i used feet i had little cuts on my @ss which only happen once so most likely you are leaving it on to long but still buy an electric razor and some confidence because you will be scared shitless if you are scared

LOL, you wax your own bum? You need to pay somebody to get it done properly. ☺ There's no use in having a smooth hairless @ss if you're going to get red spots all over it.

You have got to go to your local auto parts store and get yourself a heavy duty car polisher. That will buff your bum right up

i've never heard of shaving a butt. but ok... uhm red spots are just an allergic reaction. They will go away ... try a non-allergic deodarant.
