I stopped using the depo shot in june and im just now coming on my period and it's very painful i stopped using it because i was gaining alot of weight and it seemed like when i stopped i just got bigger is that something that will go away in time or will i have to work on that

I was on this stuff too as a teen. It is toxic and it's good that you stopped using it. It took me awhile to get back to normal, but I'd say about a month after I stopped I started losing weight and my period got back to normal.

DEPO messes a woman's cycle up. And it can take one day to start menstruating or it can take two years. Your periods will stay bad for at least five months. Exercise and balanced diet will help with your weight and your periods.

It takes around a year for your periods to get regular again. I did depo for 3 years and loved it. Weight is up to you to lose.

I've never used it so my Period is regular, it hasn't gone through any changes in times.
