Wow, Baker is horrendous, LaRussa chokes in the playoffs (Cardinals and A's), Cox is missing Leo Mazzone as pitching coach, they have underachieved either, all those years in the playoffs and only one ring, and Torre does a good job for the most part, but he hasn't won since 2000 and he's had so much talent, I think Baker will be for sure gonzo and I think Torre could be too if they don't get a ring this year.

Baker abuses his pitchers, leading directly to injuries. He has hurt the younger guys.

LaRussa is a good manager, but he makes too many moves.

Cox is also good, because he doesn't meddle much. Managers should stop making moves once the game starts. Too much meddling generally does more harm than good. Cox's weakness is that he sticks with veterans(Keith Lockhart, for instance) when there are clearly better younger players available.

Torre is a good hands-off manager, as well. He has had the luxury of great players, but he sets a good lineup and handles the pitching well.

torre is the best out of that group larussa cox and baker are falling this season the pros out of all those coaches are that they have very talented teams the cons are that all of these coaches cant give their talented team the best coaching they can give even torre his yankees are a 200 million team they should be blasting homers and pitching shut outs every game
