I belive I'm pregant so if I don't drink anything for 4 to 6 hours in the afternoon will the test be right?

I bellive that I am pregant because I am way passed due of my monthly so I want to take the test in the afternoon and I want to know if the test will show up right if Idon't drink anything for 4-6 hours so I don't have to wait till morning?

Well, it's always best to use first morning urine, but if you need to do it in the afternoon you'll probably be okay. Tests are really sensitive these days. Maybe don't drink anything for about 2 hours and then try. 4-6 is too long to go without fluids during the day if you are indeed pregnant!!

It all depends on how far along you are and what type of test you bought. When was your last period and when do you expect your next?

Even the best ones don't pick up until you are at least at a level of 50 HcG, but some women get there sooner. If you read the fine print on the early detection package, it states that it is only 60% accurate 4 days before your period and gets better with each day.

If you test negative, there is still a chance you are pregnant and tested too early. If there are two in the package, go ahead!

It depends on how late you are and how pregnant you are. If you have enough of the pregnancy hormone it doesnt matter what time of the day you take the test. i took it in the afternoon and it came up positive. That was when I was almost 2 weeks late. Well congrats if you are and good luck!

Bottom line, if your pregnant your pregnant, regardless the time you take it. There is no reason you shouldnt drink anything. I took my test around 6pm and I was pregnant... So dont wait and dont not drink water or juice.... Just take the test and see, or get a blood test from the DR

It doesn't matter what you drink. If the hormone is in your body it will be detected. yes, the best time to take one is in the morning, first pee. But I took one at night and it still said I was. If it does come out positive or negative, take another first thing tomorrow to make sure.

Well the AM is the best time but I am sure it is going to kill you to wait that long... why dont you take a test this afternoon if it is neg then take another in the AM... get a double pack...

The tests these days can be taken any time. If your that anxious to know just take the test. I think they suggest you take two tests anyway. So take one now and one in the morning.

I have never heard of not eating or drinking for 4-6 hours if you have already missed a period the test will be accurate..........

The tests are designed to look for a certain hormone your body makes when it becomes pregnant. Not drinking anything might just make your pee yellow.
