Not really - but it seems like almost everyone does have one. Sometimes it is funny to watch. Two people having dinner "together" at a restaurant and both of them are on their cells phones talking to someone else. Or, three or four kids walking together in the mall and each of them talking to someone else. Things sure have changed in the past 10 years.

i dont think everyone "NEEDS" a cell phone, but i think that everyone "SHOULD" have one... at least for emergency purposes!!!!
i cant tell you how many stories i've heard of people who crashed their car in the middle of no where, or someone's in trouble, but oops! no phone around to help out!!!!
emergency cell phone purposes are good...
drivers talking on their cell phones though, wow..
