Get some Metallica such as Fade to Black, Whiskey in the Jar, Enter Sandman, or Master of Puppets. The new Papa Roach is pretty good as is Three Days Grace. Living Things "Bom Bom Bom"
If you like country, get some Toby Keith and Johnny Cash.
Nothing on the top songs on itunes is very interesting.

The Bluest Eyes In Texas - Nina Perrson. She's the singer from The Cardigan's. I love that song it's from the movie Boys Don't Cry plays during the end credits. Probably the only movie I watch the end credits of.lol

if you are more into metal, i would suggest songs by metallica, pantera, black sabbath, judas priest, korn, motley crue, and ozzy osbourne. if you want good alternative/punk, go for green day, all american rejects, franz ferdinand, helmet, incubus and sum 41. if you want good old-fashioned hard rock, aerosmith, audioslave, boston, pink floyd, queen, the ramones, rob zombie/white zombie, and U2 are yor best bets. i do not, however, recomend country in any way, shape or form. i hope this helped!

Do it yourself! Only you know what you like. It's bad enough you got an iPod, when you could've gotten a Creative Zen Vision: M.
