Yes:

I plan on donating my body to science (and I have told my next of kin). After I am dead I will have no use for it so why not? It should also be cheaper than a funeral, and I am a poor person and don’t want to be a burden on my family. I have a general disabling illness called Fybermaliga, and I take a lot of medication for it. I don't know if my organs will be suitable for donation, or if it would be a wise thing to even consider, except for the corneas.

Studying a decaying body is just one way to utilize the corpse. Another more important use is for anatomy students. They need a body to study and dissect. ALL potential doctors have to go through this class.

Another good use would be in the visible man project. A murder was executed and frozen. His body was then cut into many slices and photographed. This made a huge database that can be studied. However, the project was done many years ago and modern technology can make thinner slices. The use of such a database would be of unimaginable benefit.

It is a lot better to let my body be useful and possibly help humanity rather than waste it by burying it or burning it up. My friends and family don't need a gravesite or an urn to morn me. I will live on in the most important place, in their memories.

this is very important to detectives, csi units, corner. this is used to determine time of death, also where death occur ed, ie water, extreme heat, all areas of the country. you would be helping family members know what happened to their loved one. you would help all involved above to answer their questions. once you die if you believe in Jesus and lived your life as such, you spirit goes to Heaven. Your body here on earth is only a "tent" as stated by the Bible while you are here. YOU have no use for it after death, so you may as well donate it and help someone. for when you go to Heaven you receive a new body.

I feel that if my body cannot be otherwise used that's a good place for it. But if I am in good enough shape I would want any organs that are viable to be used for transplant first. Anything that helps someone else is a good choice for me.

Because of my faith I wouldn't (although I am going to be an organ donor)....but I do thinks body farms are very cool and educational places that provide researchers and scientists with a lot of valuable information.

Absolutely. Or to a gross anatomy class. Or to the people that do tolerance testing for the automobile industries. I may die someday, but I don't intend to take it lying down (at least not in a box, anyway).

I am a body donor, they take out all the useful parts and sell them (I guess) then who cares what they do with whatever is left. No funeral, no viewing, no expenses.

Nope. I would like to be cremated, and before that, my body respected.

Yes. I will have no further use for it and if it will help others then so be it.
