Liza Minelli and Lorna Luft are Judy Garland's daughters.
Judy Garland was struck by a disease that affected her vocal cords. While being treated for this she became addicted to the prescription medication that the doctors had put her on. She was told that she would never sing again, which then sent her into a severe state of depression. Her drug addiction became worse. She began drinking alcohol, and large amounts. After her second marriage failed due to the drugs and alcohol abuse. She went into a state of depression that was uncurable. She then overdosed on the medication, drugs, alcohol and committed suicide.
Judy will forever be remebered by "Over the Rainbow" from "the Wizard of Oz". May she forever rest in peace.
Both her daughters suffer from the same depression that Judy suffered.

Judy Garland commited suicide, after being addicted to drugs and alcohol. She sufferes from severe deprssion. Liza Minelli is daughter. Judy was a beautiful and talented women.

Judy Garland died in 1969 from a drug overdose. Nobody knows if it was an accident or a suicide.
Judy's husband awakened one morning and found that Judy wasn't in bed with him.
He discovered Judy's body lying on the floor dead in the bathroom.
Judy Garland is one of the greatest singers/actresses of the 20th century.

Judy died on June 22, 1969, less than two weeks after her 47th birthday. The official cause of death was listed as an accidental overdose of sleeping pills. However, some people maintain that Judy died of anorexia. She did have a bad case of hepatitis in 1959, and it is also possible that the resultant liver damage led to her demise. She was apparently quite ill during the last years of her life.

Judy's memorial service was at Campbell's Funeral Chapel in New York on June 27, 1969, and she was laid to rest at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, New York

I think Judy Garland overdosed (whether accidental or intentional, I don't know). She has two daughters...Liza Minelli & Lorna Luft.

i love judy garland..she is by far one of the GREATEST actresses, singers of all time. her voice was simply beautiful... it's so sad how she suffered from low self esteem, she felt ugly, fat, etc, compared to all the glamorous actresses at the time.
