My best friend and I have been there for each other through so much. She was supposed to be going through a divorce around about the time I got married and now she will not talk to me because i married my husband who at first she had no problem with Just said she needed to get to know him. We all went out one time and he bought her a rose so she wouldn't feel left out when he bought mine, well she huged him and danced with him and all this stuff but after we got married she decided she didn't like him because a few days after we went out we saw her again and he huged her she said he was to touchy feely. What should I do I miss my and her friendship but i will not give up my husband I love him soooo much and he treats me right.

She was caught in a moment of man hating with her going through her divorce and she couldn't take it at that time seeing you happy with someone when she was falling apart.... it was too much for her and reminded her of her own wedding and how happy she was with the man she was now becoming disconnected to........ I am sure your husband is not too touchy feely, I am just as sure that this was just the excuse she needed to get away and not feel anymore miserable about her life and situation at that point. I know that sounds selfish, but I have been there before and sometimes you have to be selfish to see your way through, she will come around and she will be ok......... I know she misses you too and your friendship together...... and soon she will be feeling stupid and really sorry for what she did, and she isn't gonna be sure how to fix things with you. Maybe you should call her periodicly and leave little messages for her saying something like......... "I know your going through alot and I just wanted to see if you are ok." or "I really want to be here for you, I know your not liking my husband but maybe I could come over and we can spend time and talk about how your doing through your divorce and let me know that your hanging in there", Just a jester of understanding can do more than a person knows or realizes.... and this isn't you saying your sorry for something you didn't do.......... this would be you saying you understand and you miss her terribly as your best friend in your life. I hope you find yourself back with your best friend and congrats on your recent wedding......... blessed be......

There are many possibilities.
Maybe your husband made a pass at her that you do not know about and she doesn't want to hurt you by breaking the news, so shes not talking to you.
Another possibility is that she is jealous because you have a happy marriage and she was just recently divorced. She may feel as though your hubby has taken her place. You need to find a time to call her and if she doesn't pick up, go to her house. Explain to her how much her friendship means to you and how you will always be there for her. Ask her why she has been spacing herself from you and let her know to be honest, that you will not get mad.

I think that if your best friend wil turn her back on you because of your husband, then she really wasn't a friend at all. I went through the same situation, but it was with my boyfriend and that was a year ago, and she hasn't talked to me since. Your husband will be there for you, for a lifetime, and your friends will not. Your husband wasn't being too touchy feely, he was being a gentleman. If he makes you happy and treats you right, then don't worry about it.

One its your husband you tied the knot and you love him he comes first on the other hand if she was your best friend she would get over it after she told you how she felt that should be it hes not going to go anywhere so she cant get use to it or you will soon later learn shes not really a so called best friend.. She just needs to get over the touchy thing he was just being nice if you explained to her than i have no more advise to tell you. you've done what you could

there is nothing you can do.. all you can do is wait for your friend to get over her feelings and stuff about him. i bet that it probably just hurts her looking at you guys since she was once married too. and she probably misses that. you know how it is when you see someone who is really happy with themselves and you can't stand it cause you are in a bad place mentally and physically well i think that is what you friend is going through right now. she can't really be happy for you so she would rather be in the dark then with you in the light, dont' worry once she over comes she'll come around again.

she's probably feeling a little bit jealous right now, as you are so happy and in love and she has just split up from her husband. having said that, friends are supposed to be there through the bad and the good, no matter what. if she doesn't like him that's fine, just be woman enough to suck it up and try and get along with him, as he will be in your life forever. she just has to learn to accept that

Your loyalty is to your mate/partner.. A True friend would accept those whom you've chosen to accept and share your life with, like family and that can also lead to the same situations. Who do you want to spend your life with, grow old together with ?

Your husband or a friend!?

I think your friend is just jealous of your relationship. She needs to grow up and stop acting like a child. If she really were your friend she wouldn't be acting this way. She should be happy for you.

well she not much of a friend if she can't except the person you swore to be with till death do you part!! if she was a true friend she would put her hateful feeling aside because she cares about you. and just deal with him if she wants to continue being your best-friend because isn't that what best-friends do!!

then she wasn't your friend to start with anyway
she should be where for you with or without your husband and not try to hurt you because of him.
she needs to get a life.
