I am due mt period next thurs so would tomorrow (sat) be too earlt to do an early result test ?

I have got a clear blue test that says you can test 4 days before. Do you think it would work tomorrow ?

I did the clear blue this morning (sat) and it was negative ! :(

i don't think so because 4 days before would mean sunday/monday. if you do it tomorrow you could end up with a false reading even when its four days before its not as accuarate the closer you are to your period the more accurate the result.
i would advise sitting tight for the weekend and testing on monday at the earliest and don't forget especially if you are testing earlier it is best to test your first urine of the day as your hormone levels are higher so it may be an idea to put test in toilet the night before so you don't absent mindly forget and go to the toilet without taking the test.

The first response test claims to be able to tell up to 5 days before your missed period. The test is looking for HCG, a hormone the developing embryo excretes into your system. You could test today and may get a positive result. If you do, hooray you are probably pregnant. Call your doctor and set up a blood test. If you get a negative result, test again closer to your period or right after it should start. This will be more accurate. Good luck on the result you want!

Some test kits have more than one test included. I say get one like that and test tomorrow....but then test again closer to Thurs....just in case.....that's what I did. i did wait until the day before I ws expecting my period though and got a positive on both tests.

u should at least wait till u miss ur period 2 b for sure before u go wasting money bc for some women it could take over a month 2 show up on a test so u could take a pregnancy test and past and still be pregnant so the best thing 2 do is wait until u miss it for a week before u take one.

Well, you can try it, but my experience has always been negative when I tested early like that. I needed to wait until a day or so after my missed period. Some people make enough HCG in early pregnancy, though, so good luck!

most of the early detection test will give you a positive result 1-3 days before your period.

No, it wouldn't be to early, some of these pregnancy tests can show positive only a few days after conception.

i would wait til i was a few days late to test. testing on saturday may be too early to get an accurate result

Use the test and if it is negative do another test in a few days time. If its positive then congratulations!!

i think the earliest you can test is five days after missed period but you need a early detection test.
