On King of the Hill, how come nobody ever seems to notice or acknowledge that John Redcorn is Joseph's father?

Everyone knows except Dale and Joseph, for a long time Peggy didn't know till she caught John Redcorn and Nancy together then the whole episode was about her wanting to tell Dale but in the end not telling. I think currently Dale is still convinced that Joseph may be an alien or half alien half human.

I don't think either of them will ever know unless it becomes the major thing for the series finale or something like that.

Joseph John Gribble's father is actually John Redcorn, who treated Nancy Gribble for "headaches" for fourteen years (until she broke up with him in the episode "Nancy's Boys").

Dale thinks Joseph is his own son, and the closest he ever came to figuring out the truth was in "Of Mice and Little Green Men," when he became convinced that Joseph was fathered by an alien.

Because Dale can't. He's in denial, and it's not right to break up a family that is otherwise happy. The other characters know. They make subtle jokes. But they respect their friend too much to be obvious.
