I've used the iron on stuff before but it just wears off in a matter of 2-3 washes... Whats the best (DIY) method to write names onto a T-Shirt - yet still making them look professional?

I would just grab a big permenant marker but that will bleed and look useless... (plus would it actually last in the wash?)

Screen printing I guess is another option but generally messy?

Any other methods?

(They are White t-shirts and I need names on the back in Black)

Thanks for the dylon entry... Can you elaborate? Wont that just dye the whole t-shirt or leave the edges of the text blurry? or can you buy it in pen form for example?

Hve you tried dylon fabric paint? I use this for my t-shirts, and it is great, although it does need 2 coats to prevent colour fade

show screen printing on t shirt isn't the final thank you to make a shirt. the final way of it extremely is by utilising utilising direct printing that prints directly to the cotton shirt. this technique makes the printing final longer than the different technique. i understand procuring a t shirt printing gadget isn't the final way yet what what i could desire to characterize this is an internet site that supplies an extremely low priced fee with fairly reliable printing high quality. They have been given 30 days shopper delight assure and so as that they supply coupon for you. do exactly that out, i individually propose it to you adult males.

Stencilling.

Screen printing is not messy if you do it right and carefully, but you need a lot of tools and equipments and there's alot of steps involved. You'll get fedup with it before you even get started if you're not patient.

Check out craftster.org, and search around the site. There are some pretty good people doing their own t-shirts there.
