Logic tends to systematize. Instinct takes factors not immediately obvious to you into consideration, in a sense, and therefore I value and trust it far more as a primary decision-making instrument. On the other hand, a lot of times I'd react badly to stressful situations if I didn't force myself to take a step back and think more rationally about the consequences of my actions.
It's almost as if I rely on instinct when taking in and processing information or events, and then logic when reacting. Something along those lines, at least.

I value both. Instinct can be very bias as it is of course personal to you, but sometimes you have that feeling when you just know you are right, and it turns out you are. I think we subconsciously pick up on little things that don't always make sense but just give an overall feeling. Yet logic is also invaluable. If it is in fact logic -you could mistake your instincts for logic when they are in fact irrational, and sometimes your logic and instincts actually merge and you cannot tell the difference as they are so unique to you.

What a lovely question! Will you set it as exam paper, and use our answers as measures?
I value my logic most, for these reasons:
I wasn't born with logic; it developed, not apparently wholly dependant upon a learned experience.
It is 'me', rather than a gut-reaction instinct shared with everyone.
I don't exactly know where it came from - i.e. what gave rise to it. Instinct is a very basic, rough-and-ready mechanism for survival, either of an individual or a species, and pleasure in the use of an instinct is inbuilt as a reward for surviving. Instinctive behaviour - sex, hunting, eating, drinking - all have powerful pleasure rewards. Is this where we get our capacity for addictive behaviour - gambling/eating/sex/shopping, as the initial instinct becomes sublimated?
Logic is also necessary to survival, but at a more considered pace. And the pleasure-as-reward for use of logic - if that is what it is - is more lasting.

Logic and instinct are both important, but I value instinct more. Why? Instinct does not change, logic can be changed by personal feelings.

My instinct because quite often my instinct-now that i've become a more harmonious and complete person-is even more beneficial to me than cold logic. Instinct is the intrepid wanderer on the path of life, logic is the cautious shepherd.

I think one and the other are born of the same thing. Intelligence. Instinct is the quick short cut that allows you to come to a fast conclusion about something. Logic is the thought process that allows you to work through that 'gut feeling' (instinct) later.

Good question...
Instinct has kept the human species alive for millions of years. And still keeps alert to this day by alerting us to danger.
Logic is the ability to synthesize information and use it in a rational way.
I am torn...but I think if given the choice I would take instinct.

It depends upon the situation. If it is an emergency, it might not be wisest to take the time to rely on logic. In an emergency, I think we have to trust that our instinct will determine the most beneficial action we can take. When time is not an issue, then it is wise to consider logic carefully.

Instinct, of course! Logic often becomes twisted, but instincts always run true

My Instinct/intuition/insight, because I firmly believe that "gut instinct" is God's "voice", my guardian Angel, insight into wisdom, a way for God to let me know what He needs/wants me to do in that moment.
As for the examples: I apologize, but, I just don't have the time right now. I will be back on tonight though, and modify my answer then. K?
Thank you for asking, and may God bless you abundantly with instinct/intuition/insight, and may you always be open to it! Have a blessed day/life. :)
