Forensics made up of a lot of science and math and mostly common sense. It is also taught at your local college. There they have counselors that can help you to choose the correct courses that you would need to send you on your way. It is a very interesting field, I hope you do well with it.

Forensic science is mostly chemistry. If you are planning on attending a school that does not offer forensic science specifally as a major you should major in chemistry. At my school the forensic science undergrad students take only one year of general biology.

I have a sister getting her masters degree in Forensic Anthoropology at USM (University of Southern Mississippi) and a minor in Criminal Justice. She's writing her thesis and will finish in December. Currently she's trying to get a job working as a CSI or Crime Lab for a nearby police department. But shes waiting to finish her thesis first.

Not making this up either. Send me a message and I can get you in touch with her. She can give you all the what you need to do and take.

Check out the website for the University of California at Davis. They have a great forensics program, from what I understand. I believe they have the courses all listed there.
