So we have this kinda over the top bachelorette party planned for my close friend. All of us in the bridal party were planning on going to Vegas for 2 nights and doing some partying. My husband who is usually really cool about me hanging with my friends think this is over the limit and doesn’t want me to go. He says it’s my friends who he doesn’t trust. I know they can be wild but the college days are over and I’ve mellowed out. So I know they can’t force me to do anything he wouldn’t want me to do…I see his point but I think I will feel a little resentful if I don’t go. What should I do to put him at ease?

maybe just ask him what he is really worried about. Is it the friends? or you? If it is the friends you need to tell him that you have your own brain and that you are madly in love with him and that your not going to cheat but to have a good time with friends. Remind him that trust is a big part of any relationship. I guess would you let him go if it was the other way around? If you really have trust in your relationship it should not be a prob...good luck and if ya go...have a blast!!!

Well i don't know if there is a way to convince a man that it is a good idea to go off alone to las Vegas to party . Take him along and he can do his thing and then you will be together at night when you girls turn in for the evening..
After all it is only 2 days..
Don't he trust you.. I always thought that was the main part of a marriage.. does he ever go out with the guys.? do you complain about him going out.. or do you trust him.. sit him down and talk about it.. He may decide rather than have a resentment going on that it will be ok for you to go with them ..
still take him along.. would do him good to see what women do when they are having fun.. might embarrass him at points in the night but that is still a good thing. then you won't ever have this problem again..
hope you get to go.. sit him down to talk.. best bet..

Get off the internet. Leave your house right now, and go shopping for some of the sexiest lingerie you can find. Suprise him with it after he gets home. Plan an entire evening of passion. Light some candles, get some chocolates, just go wild. When you are all said and done and you are both calmed and relaxed, explain to him that relationships are about trust. And say this exact phrase,"Relationships are based on trust, and if you don't trust me enough to go to Vegas, then you can trust me in knowing that you are never getting another night like this again."
Worth a shot. If he says yes and you get to go, then on the night you return, you should give him another one of those nights. If he says no, then you are off the hook for sex for a while. It's a win win!

Dear, wake up! You have to live with your husband NOT with your "formerly" wild friends. If it is going to cause such consternation, I would skip the party. Besides, those Vegas things are merely an excuse for acting like an immature brat, drinking way too much, and spending a lot of cash you probably don't need to spend. It's not that you should automaticallly cave in to your husband, but as I said, HE'S the one you have to live with every day...not the friends.

If he can't trust you at this point in your lives he has some issues that he needs to address besides what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Yeah like your friends have this huge control over you. He has to be the one to trust you.

Why not have him go to? You two can stay in your own room together and while he gales you can go do your parting & meet back up later that night. Put the shoe on the other foot...would you want him to go to Vegas for a bachlor party without you?

I think you should respect his wishes or risk loosing him. If you truly care about how he feels then you should do what is right by him. Alot of things happen in that city and he has every reason to be concerned. You have to look from his perspective. He will really appreciate you for it. Good luck and I hope you make the right decision.

Do you have kids? If so i would say don't go. I can certainlly understand where he is coming from. The night of a bachelorette party is damaging enough but sheesh a full weekend out of town. Sorry but thats a little much don't you think?

Just sit down and discuss with him in a serious manner that you would like him to trust you because you will not betray it.

Furthermore, you are your own woman and just because your girlfriends might act wild, doesn't mean you have to and he should trust that and also honor your right to attend a bachelorette party of your friends just like he should have the right to attend a bachelor party of his friend.

I hope he gets a boost in the secured department so he can feel that he can trust you unconditionally.

For starters, convince him that your not going to have sex with any strippers (or stick your hands in his g string). Tell him your plan for the party without specific details - so he doesn't show up. Tell him if he lets you, you will "make it up to him (wink wink)". Address his fears and get him to trust you. Then go to Vegas and screw anything that moves (I hear that's OK when your drunk). Besides if you get drunk enough, you will honestly be able to say "No, I don't remember sleeping with anyone."
