I got a DUI 8months ago. It was a complete accident which I deeply regret. Anyways, here in Texas the law basically rapes you when you get charged with a DUI. I've already spent thousands in court costs, fines, etc. Now I'm supposed to take a Drug/Evaluation test in front of a counselor and this bothers me. I don't consider myself a person with alcohol or drug problems, but I'm afraid if I answer questions a certain way, that I will be stuck going to something like AA three times a week for two years (and they charge $ for their meetings). Does anyone know what kind of questions they will be asking me? I just want to know before taking this test.

answer honestly these people are trained to tell if you lie. If you do not have a problem you will make yourself look guilty by lieing.

Dont worry you will be fine and if not maybe you DO need help. good luck though

If you're willing to endanger the lives of others (as drunk drivers rarely ever kill themselves), obviously you do have a problem of some sort. Maybe the problem is the alcohol, but most likely the issue is just your own stupidity for driving a car while drunk. The Drug/Evaluation test will serve as an indication of whether you'll commit this so-called "accident" again, and in my opinion, is completley warranted based on your behavior.

they'll start off asking if you'd be willing to answer the questions naked and the remaining questions get easier or harder depending on how you answer that one.
