Leaving your cell phone ringer on during a movie, concert, lecture, religious service, or any other gathering of people where people are trying to hear is rude. If you can put it on vibrate, do it. But do not answer the phone in the gathering. Take the phone outside or to another room. If your call is that important, then you should wait outside until it comes.
It still astounds me the things people will discuss over the phone in public. And the greatest thing this cell phone craze has shown me is how shallow and superficial most people's live are. How have so many convinced themselves that they can't get along without this little electronic gadget?

Best you make up your mind whether you want to watch a movie, or talk on the telephone. If you are that addicted to that phone, better to rent a movie and watch it at home, that way you won't be a pain in the but to everyone else who is trying to stay interested in the trash that they call movies these days.
Oh! am I being too harsh? Nothing is more aggravating than being forced to listen to a baby crying in a movie or a restaurant.

Baby crying is a perfectly acceptable ringtone. So is the sound of licorice being unwrapped, coughing, wheezing, and stamping of feet.
But if you're getting a lot of calls, I'd recommend using Clichéd Soundtrack Music as your ringtone!

That is rude, if it was a real baby then you can not control the crying. But a phone, come on. You are there to see a movie, talk on phone when the movie is over or go to lobby. Put the phone on vibrate if you have to keep it on.

The sound of a baby crying in a theater or restaurant is NOT acceptable. I will throw Lemonheads at you if you do that. If it is a baby and not a phone, I will throw Lemonheads at the baby. I will suck on them first to make them stick real good.

Ha! That's funny!! Both are totatlly rude practices, and if you get management involved, they'll front you replacement tickets or get rid of the boneheads. I love babies, but movies are not the place for them.
Don't sit idly by and let the jerks ruin your day...
Peace.

Theres a chance you'll get by with it, but I suggest you just put the phone on vibrate and keep the phone in your lap. That way you dont disturb anyone.
