Chronos [Greek] is the same as Saturn [Latin]. The symbol for Saturn is similar to this Cyrillic character ђ. They are both identified with the slowest of the planets that can be observed with the unaided eye.

According to Robert Graves' "The Greek Myths", the manual symbol for Chronos is the third finger raised alone. This is known as the fool's finger. Also it is a rude insult.

He is mythical. As far as I know there are no symbols or pictures of him. He created the Greek Gods. Cronus is part of the Greek Mythology creation story. He does not have symbols because he was not worshiped his son Zeus was worshiped instead. According to Greek mythology he did not exist after Zeus over threw him, so he could not be worshiped and he does not have any symbols. Also if you want to know what he looks like it would be like asking what does God look like. He has no image.

Oh, person before me who said Chronos--that's a different god. Chronos (spelled with a X--chi--curse transliteration!) is Father Time. Cronus (or Kronos) is Zeus's father, among other deities.

I don't know of any symbol for him. Zeus castrated him and from the mix of semen (blood, too, I guess) and sea foam, Aphrodite was born. So maybe a severed penis? I mean, Hermes had penis monuments, so why not Kronos?

The symbols for Cronos are a Scythe or a sickle in Greek mythology and an hourglass in Roman.

Cronus, leader of the ruling Titans, son of Ouranos and Gaia ..... the father of Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hestia, Hera and Demeter. Gaia and her son Cronus castrated Ouranos so that he and the ruling Titans could safely rule Earth. The on-going struggle of power and politics. Cronus therefore devoured all of his children as soon as they were born. Only Zeus was able to escape with the efforts of his mother, Rhea. In the end, Cronus ended up being overthrown by Zeus, his siblings and other allies. Narcissism best described Cronus ..... Self-love, delusions of grandeur (power-hungry) and pathological envy. In Art, Cronus was represented as an old man holding a sickle (This was the weapon, he used to castrate his father Ouranos ). A scythe is a long-handled implement used for cutting grass ..... having a curved sharpened blade that moves in a plane parellel to the ground - to cut the grass.
