No, but your right his best stuff is about Bush... My all time favorite Colbert quote is about Bush... He's talking about Bush's long vacations, and says "Bush is like a black and decker vaccum, if you don't recharge his batterires, he can't suck."

I think Colbert will stay relevant after Bush is gone. This is in contrast to Dennis Miller who was so abrasive to the Clinton administration and is now a nobody. Of course Miller stopped being funny when he turned bitter.

So, he'll comment on somebody else. He's an equal opportunity heckler.
{EDIT to jasonzbtzl} You must have missed Stewart's sketches against Democrats. He's tore into them just as badly at time. Same with Colbert. Have you been watching his interviews with Congressfolk, primarily from Democratic districts? He's brutal.
The thing is, the Democrats (as a political party) are largely just floundering around incoherently right now, so there's not a lot to say about them. But when the do something newsworthy, they get just as much grief for it.

Yeah, I was wondering about that the other day. I guess John Stewart show will need shut it down too, since they never seem to find anything wrong with what Democrats do, if a Dem gets into the White House I guess he will have to find another job.
hichefheidi - You seriously think that, that show is even handed, seriously. Wow!

10 years of Daily Show followed by a spinoff show...I think he's safe. His comedic genius reaches far beyond Bush. Have you seen the latest Geraldo smears? Hilarious!
Jason, you have obviously not watched the how, they go after everyone who deserves it!
No Jason, it is definitely slanted...towards humor!

I think his satire goes beyond party lines. There will always be room for Colbert no matter what party is in power.

I wouldn't think so.I think he'll evolve with the times as people change. If he's smart enough to figure out the whole Bush milieu I think he'll catch on to whatever is next.
