I still have mine! I need to get her glasses and the bib for her outfit, and the voicebox doesn't work anymore. I have thought about getting her fixed up so she works again, just because she was always one of my favorite dolls. I remember the Christmas I got her when I was a kid

Yes! She was my favorite doll when I was little. Mine had a string also that you pulled and she "talked". I'm 39 now and remember carrying her around everywhere as a kid. I believe it came from the '60's TV show "Family Affair". My mom collects Mrs. Beasley dolls and she has a grandma Beasley doll. I never even knew they had grandma dolls. Thanks for a reminiscent moment.

My mom talks about Mrs. Beasley all the time. I actually managed to track one down and buy it for her for her birthday about a year ago. I think it's one of her best presents ever.

That is so funny you ask..my mom used to have one when she was a kid! She used to tell me stories about how much she just loved that doll! I guess I don't remember any other specifics about the doll but my mom is 44 now so it was quite some time ago when she had that doll. :)

I sure do! I remember getting really upset because I lost her glasses, too. I used to love that doll.
