redcatt63 i agree! but you know what? i don't even get worked up over uneducated ignorant people anymore, it's the year 2006! come on people get over it!!!! San Diego Pride was amazing!! over 300,000 people ♥ i seriously had goosebumps the whole time :)
P.S. Carmen's pretty hot too, i got my hair cut like her, it looks so awesome!! :)

funny how there's so many people that have come here and answered "what's the L Word?" why did you come to this page, anyway? DUH! LOL!!
anyway, my girl and I both LOVE the show. it's such a long time still until the next season. Shane has gotten cuter! Carmen was hot! Alice makes me laugh...I loved her and Dana together! I can't believe Dana is gone! :-(

I watched the first season of it becasue my mom is Gay so I figured I learn a bit about the show. The first season kind of ticked me off a bit when the college girl I forget her name but she was a student at the time was cheating on her fiance, and no one stood up for him and told him what was going on. I thought for a long time this was like a secret code or soceity for Lez poputlation if a good guy is getting cheated on then don't tell, becasue she's gay. Then on the cruise everyone congragulated her, homeboy was cool but it seemed like no one gave a rat A** but if he were cheating they would have told her in a heart beat. I'm not sure if your remember what I'm talking about but it was very early in the first season. That upset me a lil, but I guess thats life.
Other than that I didn't mind the show, I turned the channel on the sex scenes believe it or not, the actors were so good that I really felt like I wasn't supposed to be watching you know. All I watched was the First season, Bet and Tina split up and it was really hard on Bet I do hope she gets some custody. Bet's sister was dating some chick who has major issues she wants to be a guy or something, I don't get the facination with Shane she was just like a guy thats an Ahole, but did that guy get caught with all the web cams in her apt. That was an a**hole move on his part watching people like that isn't cool. I guess there is no need to have a respectable man on that show, we can all be predeterminded so to say. Granted I've only seen the first season so things could be a lil different now. Ne ways the show is pretty good, if I get showtime again I'll prolly watch it. I can't watch that other queer show folk or something naw I don't need to see that ish gay women is a lil strange to watch (living everyday life) but thats about as far as I'll go.

I absolutely love it so far. Too bad in Mexico we just began with the 2nd season. I like Shane's style a lot, especially her hair (mine's like that, really messy). The hottest one I think is Carmen...ahhh there's something about that dark skin and those lips. And of course Alice...she's so funny.
So yeah, I LOVE the L Word :)

I love the L Word ! I've heard complaints about it that not all lesbians live their lives or dress like they do, etc. They may or may not be my issues, or the issues of all lesbians, but they still put our stories out there in the media where we were invisible. And I do think Shane has gotten very, very cute.

Well I can think of someone who isn't a lesbian and loves this show. ME. :) I definitely dig the characters and the story-line (well for the most part). I'm just really worried about what's gonna happen with Bette and Angelica! That baby is adorable! but I wish Tina and Bette would kiss and make-up and have happy sex.

I do... we just watched the last two episode of last season two night ago... What up with Shane leaving carmen at the alter... F-d--up.... Carmen is hot.... I hope Bet gets custody and I dont like alice with Dana's ex..... I'm really sad about Dana being gone, she was my sexy..... Oh well.... And whats up with Jenny? and her girl/man... He is being not very nice....
