Yes, he is a great writer. I like the Green mile and the Stand (read that one over 10 times) If your interested this link will give you all kinds of similarities in his books. Each book or story relates to other books.

Yes I have read it several years ago. It was a book about a clown snatching children, right? or I could have been mistaken.. :) there was a spider there, i think.. oh well.. all im sure is that it was a pretty scary book. But I enjoy watching Stephen King-inspired movies more than reading like Firestarter and The Green Mile..
cheers.. :)

I just wish they wouldn't change the endings or things that happen in the books of Stephen King when they make films of them. The books are brilliant leave them that way on screen. Rose Red scared the pants off me LOL The bloke is pure genius

I read the book and saw the movie.....the ending was a bit weak as I think clowns are scary - but spiders - eh - just squash 'em on the bottom of your shoe....
He has a book called "On Writing". It is a good buy if you are a fan of his - well worth the money spent!
The Green Mile was good, too.......How about Salem's Lot? Cujo was classic!

I read it when it first came out and several times after. It's one of his better books. I also liked 'The Green Mile' and 'The Stand'.
I agree with a couple of other posters - Dean Koontz is very good and you will like him.

READ his BOOK
""ABOUT WRITING""
he tells a lot there...
where his ideas come from etc...
A lot comes from drugs (( MEDICATION )) and people he has known.
Very GOOD IT!
I read it and liked it better than the movie though I did see the movie a few times too...
along with the SHINING...

I've read It, and it was very scary. I don't like clowns. My favorites are The Stand and The Cell.
