The film "Napoleon Dynamite" recently won as best film at the MTV Movie Awards. Seriously, whoever chose this as the best film must have been on something. I just saw it on video, and it's probably one of the lamest films of all time. Anyone else agree with me?

i thought it was freakin hilarious!!!!!!!!!!! not best film material...but it was still really funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now you wanna watch a lame movie, watch "the benchwarmers" but only if you can see it for free....its not worth a penny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its that bad!!

I thought it was dumb at first too (my 19 year old step-daughter made me watch it) but after I watched it a 2nd time I came to appreciate some of the more subtle humour and excellent acting in this film. Jon Heder is hilarious. You'd have to be a good actor to act so one-dimensional as Napoleon Dynamite comes across as being.

Napoleon Dynamite was a great movie- watch it again. It gets better every time I watch it.

I really like the movie b/c of it's dry sense of humor. I also am kind of amazed that it's a comedy geared towards teenageers, with a PG rating that did as well as it did with it's target audience. I can definitely see why people don't like it, but I personally found it hilarious.

MTV made the movie. That didn't hurt.
Strangely enough, I found it a lot funnier the second time I saw it.

I thought Napoleon Dynamite sucked - and it wasn't funny at all. It was a total waste of money to rent that video.

Sorry cant say that I do. But I did realize that people who didn't like the movie were pretty much being made fun of in the movie, so maybe that's why you didn't like it.
