I dunno hun. Although you may not realize it now, you are sooo young. I'm 18 and I feel like only now am I really ready to seriously start dating. I think you have to ask yourself how far you are willing to go as well. If you are kissing guys now, what will you be doing when you're 15? I know so many people, myself included, that did stuff at a young age and regret it so much to this day because at the time they were just trying to fit in or do what everyone else was talking about. Just make sure in everything that you do, you completly 100% ready for it. As for your parents, it;s great if you can have an open honest relationship with them but lets face it, how many teenagers actually have that with their parents. Being a teenager is about learning and becoming independant.

Believe me when I tell u this, u do not know and will never know all the things your parents have done. There is nothing wrong with kissing-just remember this, it DOES NOT have to go any further than kissing, u are still only 13.

you are pretty young. so i wouldnt suggest you kiss at this time. kissing often leads to other more serious things. some things you are too young to handle. understand? you can set a deadline for yourself. like "ok im going to start dating at 16." that way you have something to look forward to. your parents are right you know. they were once your age too. you're at that age that they should give you "the talk" too. dont keep secrets from them because you are only hurting the relationship you have with your parents. and if anything ever happens to you, you want them to be by your side dont you? you want them to trust you right? well thats something you have to earn. if you prove to them that you are a good responsible young lady then they may let up on that overprotective hold on you.

Thirteen is a bit young to be kissingand whether you tell them or not is up to you..They are still going to be protective no matter what...You don't need any bf right now..There will be plenty of time for that later on.,..Right now just enjoy your life going to school making freinds and memories....Just have fun..You will grow up so fast so enjoy your youth while you can

I do not advise kissing when you are 13.
No it is not a bad thing that you have done.
No, don't tell your mother unless you really feel you should.
If you know she is over-protective, then you know she loves you very much. Just wait until you are 16 to do any more kissing.
Good luck

um, well technically if they don't know you did anything at all, you are NOT lying to them. Just keep it to yourself and don't take it any farther than kissing. You are WAY too young to be doing anything else. Don't feel bad.I think my first kiss was at about 12 years of age...you're okay
