Yes, they've been cloned. Superman, Spiderman, Deadpool, Jean Grey, Wolverine . . . yeesh, there've been a lot of characters with clones or modified genetic copies made of 'em. Even Multiple Man was copied to make the Schizoid Man in the Ultimate U.

Which should be cloned? Tough call, since cloning in comic books generally goes either quite well or incredibly badly. I'd say none, really - there are enough heroes as it is. If there were duplicates, they'd probably spend all their time fighting one another. It'd be a neverending Civil War/Clone Saga, and who wants that?

I think they should clone MULTIPLE MAN! He can alrwady produce hundreds of versions of himself. Just think how many he could create if he were cloned.

He would probably end up fighting endless versions of himself to discover which ones were the clones...

Yes they can be..Spiderman and Superman where both cloned, Silver Surfer..Soo he can turn evil and kill the universe.
