The wax is for where ever it hurts. You wear it as long as you need too!! I just got braces a few weeks ago and they said if you don't need to use the wax you really shouldn't but it sounds like you should. You don't want sores in your mouth and so if you need to use it honey use it. I don't see why you can't wear the wax on the spring. As long as you brush your teeth and get the wax of so it doesn't collect the food and get stuck in your spring wearing the wax should be fine. Good Luck and I hope you feel better.

Use as much wax as you need. Just dont use a huge gob of it or it will look funky. Roll the wax up in a ball first. It will mak it softer and more pliable when you place it on your teeth. Also, if it hurts really bad get some Anbesol or Orajel. I would keep it handy for future problems too. Good luck on your new braces!

WEAR THE WAX!!! If you don't, your already sore mouth will get raw and bleed. Just put enough to cover the sharp part of the spring. And don't press too hard, just enough to make the wax stay in place. You don't want to swallow it in your sleep! Good luck, I feel for you. Been there, done that!

yes, actually, you can eat with wax on you're braces! (sry!) and yes, it's fine to put wax on the spring, u just need a littlepinch of wax. if u've got a little box of wax, it's like a tenth of one of the long wax strips. like i was saying, tho, if you eat with wax on, it's no bd! it'll just go down with the food, nothing bad'll happen!!!!! but htat only happened to me wen i 4got to take my wax off, but if you remember, u should take it off. it's also ok to sleep w/ wax on.yes, you can put wax on the spring, it's ok, and you'll have to push sorta hard, but u won't have to use all ur might. just push a little and it'll go on. good luck! oh yeah, keep it on as long as you like. if u take it off at anytime of the day, like if you take it off to eat (that is to say u remember!! haha!) then don't put on the same wax. put on some different wax. hope i helped a bunch!! oh yeah, and if ur real worried bout wut's gonna happen if u think the wax is to hard, then just hold the wax in ur hands or in between 2 fingers 4 a while, and that should soften the wax up!

i had braces and it is ok to put wax on a spring. You just need a little bit...enough to cover the spring. Wax stays on pretty easily, but you do need to push it on. I would change it every time before you eat (you can't eat with wax on your braces).

well its just wax, so it wont break your braces; and if it gets stuck you could probably just brush it out. so yeah dont over use the wax; use just enough. press it on, but dont press it too hard cause then you might need to put on even more. And i'd say keep it there until you eat; and if its still hurting you then put it on again.
