Sprint in general has the lowest deposit. I believe the max deposit you will get is 125 maybe 175. Verizon can go up to 400, Cingular up to 400 and t-mobile used ot be 500 but i havent worked for them in a while. Good thing with sprint is even if you get the max deposit is you still are eligable for their free phones. So take one of them and just think of it like you paid 175 for the phone.

Depending where you live Nextel Partners (different than Nextel Communications/Spring) is pretty good. They have a max deposit of 100 (includes activation fee) bucks but you get put on a spending limit program that costs you either 4.99 or 12.99 (depending on your credit score). Once you get put on this spending limit program you can never get off as long as you stay with Nextel Partners, even if your credit improves years later.

Sprint will give you a phone for maximum deposit of 150, but you'll get a free phone.

You can still try to get one. They may require a deposit or you could always get a pre-paid cell phone (I know that's not what you want).
