BT has a good answer. The Persian people are fantastic. Just think if the liberal President Carter supported the Shah of Iran instead of turning his back, we would not only have a great friend in the middle-east, hell I could going skiing in one of the best ski slopes in the world, play chess with some of the best players, and see all the historical sites. Unfortunately unless the people of Iran revolt and change their political system it doesn't look positive.

It was once known as Persia and the Shah was the ruler and all was well until the pestilence of the parasitic Muslim/Islamic people overthrew the Shah and then all was in ruin.
