have you checked the cable leading from the pedal? it may be snapped.
failure to find gears can mean anythin from a knackered clutch/gearbox to a loose mount meaning the gears cant be found.

Sounds like either the throwout bearing or pressure plate is broken. You will need to replace them. This can only be done by removing the transmission. As long as it is apart, it is best to replace the clutch disc, pressure plate, and throw-out bearing as a set.

too much play on the clutch.. its burned out and the can't locate the gear box.. do u ride ur clutch alot? maybe that's the problem.. but i'm no expert!

Your clutch collapsed. Unfortunately, that's your transmission and you have to replace it. The good news is that the clutch is quite cheap (mine was under $200) but the labor is what will kill you.

It could be broken or worn linkage, broken cable, empty master cylinder, broken throw-out bearing, burned or shot clutch..........

Could be the hydraulics if its a hydraulic clutch.

If it is hydraulic you might need fluid, or either your master or slave cylinder needs replacing. If it a cable type your cable might be snapped.
