It's called braxton hicks contractions. They are like practice contractions. They are normal and will not hurt you or your baby. Excercise tends to agrivate braxton hicks, but it's nothing to worry about. If your doctor has check you and said there is no problem, then don't worry. You will probably have these up until the time you go into real labor. Trust me, you will know real labor when it hits. Try haveing a warm bath, or do some really light walking when they hit. That should help to ease them. You can take tylenol also, just follow the dosage on the package.

It sounds like you may be having Braxton-Hicks contractions. They are a normal part of pregnancy. Basically, they are practice contractions and they are getting your body ready for the big day. They don't mean that you are going into labor early or even anytime soon. They are just your body's way of getting all the muscles necessary ready for the process of labor and delivery.
Not all women get them, but lots of us do. With my last baby I started having B-H contractions in my fifth month and ended up giving birth one day before my due date. Also, walking always brought them on for me.
If they are bothering you, try laying on your left side and drinking lots of water. They can sometimes be brought on by dehydration, so the water might help ease them.
Good luck and try not to worry too much!

When I was 31 weeks pregnant, on New Years Day we were eating breakfast at my mom's. I told her I felt cramps, like I was on my period. I had my son six days later, 3lb 5oz. The difference is that we timed them and they were coming at regular intervals. If yours stop when you stop walking, this isn't labor. It probably means that the baby is resting on some key muscles that help your hips move. If they do start coming at regular intervals, go to the hospital. They will try to stop the labor with meds, probably Magnesium sulfate or a take home drug. It didn't work for me, though! Good luck!

Yup everything is fine. When you are farther along in your pregnancy, like you are. Your body doesn't tolerate exercise as well as it used to. Listen to your body. Rest when you get crampy. At this point in your pregnancy you should be going to the doctor every week (or you will start to soon) talk to you doctor then if you are still concerned.
And if for some reason you do go into labour your baby is old enough to be born without any problems.

The baby may be low. If so, then it is pushing on nerves that can cause cramping when you walk. I think you are ok, especially if the dr. already checked you out. You may have to start taking it a little more easy now that you are getting so close to giving birth.
If you are not bleeding, and you are not dialating and you are not leaking amniotic fluid, then you are not in pre-term labor.
Good luck, and take care!

you must be having your 1st baby....don't worry sweet heart. For some mom's its normal and sometimes they limit your activity to bed rest for the last month. If you are trying to walk to speed up the process of labor.....don't! Your baby will come when she/he is ready. Your baby's head is probably positioned in an area that causes you to have pain when your up and active. Your insides are all squished up and things are not in normal position. Just relax and enjoy the freedom of rest NOW, b/c when your baby gets here.......You'll have your hands full!!! Good Luck and don't stress, It's not good for your baby. They can scence your uneasiness.

Those could be Braxton Hicks contractions. If you're worried though you should see another doctor and get a second opinion.
