Why the US waited for two years to declare war on Hitler?
September 1, 1939 - The Beginning of WWII. Britain's declared war on Germany, September 3, 1939. Why did the US declare war against Hitler only on December 11, 1941 (two years later)? Is it because war is the biggest business in the US and big corporations did not finish their business with Hitler (including the key-figure - Bush's family)?

I have read some about the connection between the Bush's and the Nazi's, but I look at it differently.
The major significance about England Declaring War and America Declaring war was the isolationist majority in America which was advanced by the Republican Party. Roosevelt could not have won a Declaration of War from the Congress before Pearl Harbor.
In fact, Roosevelt had to lie cheat and steal to get help for England and Russia to fight the Nazi's. The Republicans are always very reluctant to go to war if it means losing lots of profits.
Now, in the Iraq War situation, the war was sold to the Nation on the bases of it being a cake walk, easy and like plucking a chicken. "The oil revenue would very quickly pay for rebuilding Iraq." And, "Our troops would be welcomed in the streets of Baghdad like we were in Paris".
What a sales pitch!

Now that you know, what can you do?

IT IS TRUE. Prescott Bush had close Nazi connections. He even helped the Nazi's escape after WW2. The Bush family had investments with Nazi's including big investments in gold.

Bush has always been fascinated with Nazi's. In fact if you notice the tactics the Nazi's use, we are using today. Hitler planted bombs in government buildings and exploded them to the ground. He then blamed it on a Polish man, who the Nazi's paraded around Berlin as the "culprit". They then hanged the man in front of the public, and this was the excuse Hitler gave the Germans for the invasion of Poland.

Hitler used this tactic a few times in order to SCARE Germans into giving up their freedoms and privacy's under national security. Sound familiar?

While I have no desire to tear down all your claims, and frankly it just wouldn't be that difficult, I will explain why we didn't declare war on Germany in 39. A vast majority of American people felt this was a European matter to be handled by them. The citizens of the United States did not want to engage in another war, even though Roosevelt was very in favor it. This attitude changed in 41. Why did it change? Because we were attacked by Japan on December 7, 1941, and almost overnight the will of the American people changed. You know you can take any loose collection of facts and create a conspiracy, but really thoughtful people try to consider the whole rather than just the parts that look favorable to their agenda.
