Its all open to interpretation and each persons perspective.
To me: Marilyn Monroe is the most beautiful woman in American Culture. She helped change/shape the future for the rest of us women. Despite all of the conspiracy theories and rumors surrounding Ms. Norma Jean. Even Elton John wrote a song about her....
Of course, its my opinion, but Marilyn is the most beautiful woman to ever grace our movie screens and television sets.

No, many women have their own version of beauty, physically and/or mentally and or emotionally. Ther is no number one.
Some women are lustfully beautiful. Pamela Anderson sticks in my mind. Some come across not because they are so gorgeous, but are admirable, like Angelina Jolie.
I find some older women very attractive, much more than Marilyn. Merideth Veriera has it together.
I met a woman who was dating a friend of mine that I found was the most beautiful woman I have ever met. She was wearing jeans and an attractive blouse, so it wasn't the clothes. Her hair, her face, her attitude and demeanor just melted me. Clearly the most attractive woman in the world to me. It ended up that she was a gold digger and everything was about money, so that illusion melted shortly. What a waste.
Marilyn had her time. Maybe it is your time now.

I think she was a beautiful woman, but todays women are shaped alot different, they come in different sizes and color now compared to Marilyn Monroe's time. I'll have to say she is in the top 5.

She embodied a stereotype of sexuality that still has broad appeal (pardon the pun) among many, but as for most beautiful, not so much.
My choice would be Catherine Deneuve.
Juliette Binoche and Rita Hayworth come in close seconds.

She was one of the beautiful woman of her era. She was the envy of a lot of woman back then. Kind of like "The woman every man wants, and every girl wants to be."

They all were beautiful in the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s. I don't think it's such things as the most beautiful woman or man because there's always someone who hates, which they are dumbass. I know a lot of people who think Marilyn was really ugly and some hate her, so no nobody is the most beautiful. I think Marilyn was beautiful and so was Elvis, but there are others just as beautiful
