Start by not blowing them, then stop worrying about being precieved as Gay, people can pick up on that.

First off, don't talk about meeting new friends if you do not want to sound gay. Just talking about it sounds gay.
For some people, meeting new friends is really hard. I used to have lots of friends, but then I moved in with my chic, got married, and had kids. The friends I still have are real good friends, friends I know I can trust because I have known them for so long, but the idea of meeting new friends is just not very appealing. If a lot of guys are like me, then you will have a hard time. But I am told that I am unsociabale, so you may be able to find some new friends. Good luck!

That's a great question. I have a problem making friends with guys who suddenly think it means more than a friendship and they start acting gay as if they feel a bonding experience with me that they could never have with a female.
Well let me tell yah, I've never had a "bonding experience" with a man. Why would I share my inner most secrets with someone I have no intention of having sex with?
I seem to attract gay men. But then again, I've heard that gay men hit on keyholes in ancient german castles too.
Why are my fellow male counterparts so sexually confused?
Dude trust me on this, stay away from guys. Make friends with girls. When your fellow males see that you are always interacting with females, out of sexual necessity, they will confide to you (and want to be YOUR FRIEND) because they'll think you are a guy who attracts females. A sort of "chick-guru" so to speak.
Men really like to imitate others in order to make themselves better people. Quite cunning behavior I must say.

I don't know...I kinda have the same problems with girls. I want to ask them to do stuff, but I don't want to sound like I'm asking them out. I just moved to a new city and I'm having a hard time finding girls with which to be friends and hang out.
How about doing something that you're interested in and then asking any guys there their opinions on things. Or just strike up a conversation with any guys who look friendly.
Good luck!

I suggest trying to make girlfriends first, as in JUST friends. Girls are easier to talk to and more accepting than guys. THEN as you start having friends that are girls your gonna meet some other guy who is friends with them. And so then try to be the guys friend, and as you keep on meeting people, start talking and just be very friendly and laugh. People like it when other people know how to laugh and smile.
