It could be but you can not be sure. Your body has to rebalance from all the hormone changes.
I would suggest using condoms this month and being safe this way. You really can't tell till you have your first period after the miscarriage.
So sorry to hear about the loss. I went thru the same thing a year ago.
If you don't want to get pregnant then some kind of birth-control is needed.

Did you have a D&C or natural miscarriage? I had a D&C after my partial miscarriage to be sure all the tissue was gone. It took me my normal 28 days to get my next period. So, I would assume I ovualted on my normal day 14 or just around there. We waited the month to try again. After my period, I did ovulate on day 14 again. We are waiting now for positive test results. After my D&C, the doctor said that it could take up to 6 weeks to get a period. If that had been the case for me, than I wouldn't have ovulated on time. Our bodies take a while to heal and adjust to the lack of pregnancy hormones. I would say you could ovulate as early as 14 days and up to a week or two later depending on your body. Good luck making your next baby!

properly, right it really is a touch solid information. for most females, having one miscarriage decreases the probability of having yet another. usually a lady may have one and flow on to have a classic being pregnant. If each and every little thing is okay, then i might want to imagine you would have more beneficial effectual success next time round. I had a miscarriage (it wasn't my first, even if) on December 23, 2006. I were given pregnant with my son round March 24, 2007 and went finished time period. Born January 15, 2008 and about to have his first birthday. Wait a minimum of one cycle earlier you try back in spite of the reality that. in case you've been to attempt back right away and by no ability have a era you're disillusioned. Wait till you've had one era, per chance 2 and then attempt. solid success and sorry for your loss. i'm hoping you get your infant.

I had a miscarriage once, so I know what you are going through. I'm truly sorry for your loss. My doctor put me on a birth control pill immediately after my D&C because he said I need to have one menstral cycle after my miscarriage before ttc again. I believe he said it was because you have a higher risk of another miscarriage (sorry, it was 3 years ago and I was pretty emotional afterwards). Anyway, if your cycles are regular, it could be as early as 14 days from then. You can chart your bbt and watch for the surge in temp or buy ovulation predictor kits and start using them about day 12.

I have had several miscarriages and was told that ovulation should occur about 14 days after the miscarriage date, but it never really did for me (I had very irregular cycles, though). I just read that it takes 5-6 weeks for the HCG levels to drop to prepregnancy levels, so I don't know if that would interfere with ovulation. Try this website:

I am so sorry for your loss!

go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive. My Doctor recommended it to me and after 1 year of trying I got the book. It worked the very next month. It turns out that my timing was wrong due to mis-information. I hope it helps you, too! It's not only about getting pregnant. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

Why do people answer like the poster before me. Anyways I will try to help. Most likely yes but u should ask ur doctor because they will know u might be able to just call and ask. If not just try when u normally do and if dosen't work this month then try again same time next. Good luck sorry about ur miscarriage.

It depends how long your cycle is and if it is a regular cycle. If your cycle is between 28-34 days long count back 14 days. Most women have a Lutheal Phase of 14 - 16 days.

I was told waiting until my next period I was only (8weeks along) to start again so figuring out due date would be possible. It can take a few months for your cycle to return to normal. It onlly took 2weeks that time.
My second one I was 14weeks and was told to wait 3-4months. Be patient things will work. It took 4 months to get my monthly back. Best of luck!

You start to ovulate right away. Don't worry many women after having miscarriages get pregnant right away.
