she can act but people like her because she is down to earth and on her tv show roseanne she resembles any mother...caring but still has her humor. someone can be fat and ugly but that doesn't mean anything you can't judge a book by its cover

She was the first woman to say the word "period" referring to a woman's cycle. It was the first show to address child abuse (her father) and she lives a life that most people can relate to. She speaks the truth and is not afraid of breaking barriers if it is going to open peoples eyes. She is a ground breaking, one of a kind woman who has done so much. She realistically proves a point, without using corny slapstick humor, and sometimes, it's nice to cry while watching a sit-com.

Roeann is a good show and show how a real family live now adays. Theres nothing wrong with being fat, who care what a person looks like its what inside that matters. If you don't like the show dont watch it.

Well as far as her TV show its because america can relate to her. shes fat and got 3 kids, shes broke and has a beer drinkin husband. Its actually a pretty funny show if u watch it. I used to think it was stupid now i really enjoy it.

It was a show about a "normal" middle class family. A lot of people are over weight and have the same kind of problems that Rosanne's family had.

She's not really popular..she hasn't done much since her show really. If you are asking how is she a star well her show was pretty good in my opinion. I usually watch it if I am up late at night they play the reruns.

She's more like people you know in real life. People can relate to that. I know that what I alway like about the show. My family was more like Rosanne's than The Cosby's.
