No. If you don't want a baby and either the woman isn't on birth control, or can't take other forms of birth control, then a condom is the best option. Take me for instance. I can't take the pill right now. The hormones are wrong and cause me problems, but I can't have an IUD either because of the problems it causes with me too, so we are stuck. We have to use condoms or else we would have another baby, which I don't want right now. I have an almost 2 yr old and a 10 month old, so for me, it would be nuts to have another one right now. So, yes married people do use condoms.

Most married people want to have children. But condoms are used to prevent the spread of STDs and to prevent pregnancy. Two consenting adults can use a condom during sexual activity whenever they wish.

Let's not forget that condoms are used for more than just preventing pregnancy. There are STDs to worry about too.
If you know that both of you are healthy and STD free then you don't have to use condoms to prevent pregnancy.
Lots of married couples choose to use other forms of birth control than condoms.

SOme people don't think it is important to use them. Unless one of you cannot have kids or are using Birth control Condoms are very smart. After each of my children were born my husband and I used condoms until I could start a form of birth control. Infact we just had a baby 1month ago and are currently using them.

Condoms are used to prevent unwanted pregnancy and the spread of desease. While some married couples still use condoms to prevent unwanted pregnancies, if you and your partner are committed and faithful desease is no longer a concern.
