India I feel is rich in everything and there are things that can not be exchanged but there are 3 things that is really necessary to change
1) work culture - work culture in India ( yes even the MNC's ) is bad.
2) Corruption - we can never become a Finland or sweden ( because we are so used to corruption that even the well read and well educated have to bow before corruption )
3) Cleanliness - Why can not we learn not to spit on the roads, pee on the roadsides and throw garbage out of our cars.
And pls do not tell me that my points are wrong. I salute India

Customs are social habits peculiar to the particular society. Western customs have acquired some sort of legitimacy by virtue of voluntary acceptance in those societies by their people over a long period. How those, even if not observed in India would be applicable to indian surrunding is not understandable. As a result, when in western countries they observe Vallentine Day and we ape it in our country with out understanding its relevance, it looks incongrous and odd. Like that people going for Honey Moon also looks stupid. But gradually, westernisation in the name of modernisation has imported these celebrations to India, which will never be as popular as the traditional festivals which are in practice for centuries.

If being one's real self is a western custom then I would sure like Indians to emulate same. It is pity that we see a lot of Indians wasting their energies in being someone else.
Indian youth better stop worrying about how they look from top to toe. It's what is in between the two ears that will see them through.

India has one of the richest and long lived civilisation in the world.
We since thousand years excepting adopting many new cultures and custom of the other peoples who came to us.
Any thing which is new has always some thing new in ideas, ways & systems...........but it all comes from the older one.
And finally what we need to learn from west is the working culture only. Bcoz we Indian did forget this in celebration of our old success. Thts it!
