Yes, when experimenting with subatomic particles in the last 50 years scientists discovered that certain particles have corresponding bonded particles which move EXACTLY the same way when one is moved and altered when the other is altered even if its on the other side of the universe. The bond within which they exist may in fact run through another dimension.
Nerdy answer i know but a sound answer at least.

Yes, I saw one just the other day. It was a gate into a garden which had been left ajar. I didn't have time to stop and look further. When I went back yesterday, there was no sign of it.
Now and again between waking and sleeping I think I have the answer ... or sometimes I have a vague memory that once I stepped through. I never remember much, though, and I never remember how I got back. Maybe I didn't come back. Maybe every instant we step through another door into another dimension which then becomes reality.

It is possible that black holes lead to another dimension, in which case quite a few have been discovered. However, it has not been demonstrated that they are such portals.

There are rumors in the Antigravity/Free-energy communities. Also the Alien Conspiracy ppl believes the US Air Force has the ability. Is any of it real? Who knows? But the free energy group has a fairly simple way of doing it if true. Something about spinning magnetic fields and 'bucking' fields.

Yes, it's called eBay. An incredible rolling book of humanity, and I wish I had time to read it all. The photographs of a pair of walking shoes placed carefully on a bed, the feedback spats, where writers confess themselves 'gutted' or 'chuffed'. The appalling spelling, the constant proclamations of honesty, the touching descriptions of things offered for sale, as too old, small, or slightly damaged to be of use to their owners. And the insomniacs' bargains to be had!

Why do you need a portal when you can dramatically alter your reality just by thinking differently.

Well, there was one under my sink at my old place, but it just lead to a boarded up white house with a mailbox.
Opening the mailbox revealed a letter. Read letter: "Welcome to Zork"
