because its only losers that say wining isnt everything anyway no-one would compete if they dont get anything out of it

Because keeping score is everything. So you can rate your
standing on the loser scale. Misery loves company.
To win isn't everything,but getting there is 1/2 the fun.

For something to do, its in our nature to be competitive and feels good to win, but really winning 5 points over the other team, doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things does it. It won't put food on the table or a shelter you from the storm.

and level 5 is on the horizon LOL ,
Don't know why, this just gives me a cosy feeling .
I enjoy what i do here as I feel i am talking to real people .

Imagine Footy with no score boards.
90 minutes+extra time and it'll be a draw anyway, the leagues won't do any good and the world cup will be probably won't be around, plus the players play harder for their team if it goes wrong.

then there would be no such thing as fan participation, no one to cheer for. sports would be boring. teach kids and adults the morals of winning and losing. its the same as life
