At the moment I'm enjoying "the fewer the better"
My group of the summer consists of me and 3 close freinds.

But at school time, our group is at like 30 and then it's "The more the merrier" I love all my friends.

The more the merrier. But, if you needs to discuss something important or serious, the fewer the better.

Fewer. I like to hang out with the people that I really can be myself around.

Personaly, the fewer the better. There are some days I just need a shoulder to cry on. There's always that one friend who know exactly what to say and do.

Definately the fewer the better when you get that one group that you're really close to and you love...it's great! You can have fun doing anything with them!

the fewer the better, at least u get a word into the conversation. I'm quite the shy type so i do well with small crowds,

Definitely the fewer the better. We have important things to discuss and we all want our fair share of attention, dammit. Plus we are usually running or walking trails, so can't have a whole herd of us, the fishermen are pissed off enough as it is.

I prefer a few close friends. When it's a big group of people it seems like everyone ends up breaking up into smaller groups anyway.

A few is better. That way I can chat and hang out with everyone, rather than having to flit about the room trying to converse with everyone.
