I cannot imagine how you even did that. I swear some folks are dangerous.

Use NON Acetone nail polish remover and a clean cloth. Blot and keep turning the cloth so you don't spread what you've moistened. When all the color appears to be gone, follow with plenty of warm water and more blotting with another clean cloth.

First Step: TEST AN AREA for colorfastness before you do this.

What I did was put some nail polish remover on a Q-tip and then just slightly rubbed it~ then you take a little bit of powder laudry detergent and put in on a wash cloth that is a little damp. Work it in gently and then take a clean wash cloth with water and get the soap all the way out. With the soap, make sure it is a very small amount so that you don't get suds on your couch.

OOoo not good. Your best bet is either bleach (if its white) or nail polish remover (yes you can use it on fabric, unless it is deeply dyed with a very saturated color- aka dry clean onlys). But as for the best thing to do.. I would take it to the dry cleaners, because they always know what to do. It may cost a little more money, but if its something you love, its worth it.

I havent tried this, but if its not a material where colour runs, a light application of nail polish remover should do. Apply the remover with a cotton bud and in light strokes

Be careful with using nail polish remover - it can literally melt synthetic fabrics. Check for any one of a number of products with names like "Goo Gone", "Oops", and the like at your local hardware store or supermarket.

Try nail polish remover on a hiden part of your fabric. If it bleaches try some of that goo-gone stuff. But there again try it on a hidden part FIRST. I have used remover before and it worked GREAT. But afrerwards my mother warned me that's how her couch got smeared looking.

Freeze the fabric in the fridge - the nail varnish should then be easy to get off.

You're risking bleaching, but nail polish remover will get it out. Use a q-tip and be careful.
