Violence is about power, and not reason. A woman hitting a man is a shameful thing. If your wife is physically abusing you, you should seek help from the police or a shelter for battered husbands. This type of violence is all too common, and yet hardly ever spoken of. Most men are too ashamed to reveal that their wife is beating them up.
The fact is, NO violence is ever acceptable in a relationship. It proves nothing other than physical dominance. It's really sad that there are still men (and women) around that think throwing a punch or a vase is acceptable behavior.

I'm not saying that women can't be strong, because there are plenty of women who can beat up men. Straight or gay. But i doubt it that most women can beat up a guy, gay or straight.
Besides fighting isn't all about strength, it is often about tactics.
And if you ever make this generalization again you can face me.

What sort of ignorant crap is this? Most gay men are as masculine as most straight men and anyone can beat up a female they are as weak as water. Your question is false! They CANT beat up gay men in fights and not only that a lot of gay men can beat up straight men!

Why is it that women can beat up straight men in fights? Physical strength is individual and has little to do with gender or sexuality.

its all in the mind, its very rare to find a gay man who is aggressive or physically defencive even. but there are many women out there who are aggressive and will kick the living daylights out of hulk hogan if he was rude to her.... remember this "hell have no fury like a woman scorned"
