Learn to establish balance in all things. Be firm in the decisions you make regarding your time.
Work hard a your job but ALWAYS take lunch, even if it means going for a walk for 1/2 hour and ALWAYS take a vacation. No matter what, establish a time for exercise at least 3 times a week. Establish a scheduled time for resting. Commit to being in bed at a certain hour. Spend time with the family by having a family hour daily, half day or weekend etc., Then establish a date night with your wife. You don't have to always do fancy things, you can go for a walk in the park, with her, go for ice cream, go to a museum, bicycling together, movies, park, get a massage together etc.
Stick to your guns about time and you'll find the you'll be able to balance things a lot better. Break the pattern if an emergency arises otherwise, keep things set up the way you've decided to have them.

If you sleep 8 h/night, you got 16 h left. Say you work 8 h 2 days/week, then work out for 1 h, then go home and spend the night w your wife. 3 days/week you work yer a*s off, just work, eat & sleep. 1 h of exercise a day on weekends, 8 h sleep leaves 30 h/weekend to spend with wife (and hopefully do something on yer own, too).
Planning does it, dude. Sad but true.

Take a vacation by yourself and just enjoy some alone time relaxing (even if it's just for a day). Then go back to your regular life and give something up that is stressful to you (an extra project at work, a chore at home, etc.). Just let it go indefinitely. Someone will be mad at you, so what? That's there problem. You'll have more energy to devote to the rest of your life, and hopefully you'll have quality time instead of stressful time. You've got too much going on and it's ok to say no sometimes.

Well the doctor is right when he says sleep more, that's your best bet. Your boss would say work more because he's looking to make money off of you. If you don't work on the weekends, then make that family time, even if you just rent a couple movies and stay in and watch them. You have to make a nice bold line inbetween your job and your homelife. Don't bring your job home unless you really have to. Good luck. xoxo.

Too many Geppettos, huh? Maybe creating a time-management spreadsheet will help. I think a lot of people are in your shoes. Everyone's trying to find time to do everything. I wish there were 30 hours in a day, to be honest.
There are 1440 minutes in a day; if you set aside some of them for each request, things will be better, for everyone making the requests. What about you, though? Set aside some for yourself as well. You can do iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttt!!!!

Time Out!!!! I know someone going through the same thing as you! You can't be everything to all people at one time! Choose your priority! Make "you" first ! It's not selfish, it's servival! How good are you going to be to any of those things if you end up making yourself "sick" cause that's just what you're doing with all that "stress" and some day it's all going to catch up with you! Take a "few" days, go off by "yourself" regroup, relax, and come back with some groundrules for yourself as to what comes "first" in your life! Anybody don't like it ,"tough" and that's putting it mildly! Take care of "you" cause "nodody" and I mean "nobody" else will!

Work faster so you got more time to be home. While you are at home, do not turn on the TV but exercise more. No pubs visits so you got more time to sleep. When you sleep well and enough and good, you will be naturally efficient to do more worker faster.
Its all about speed and piorities

Exercise and sleep at home; that should satisfy your wife's request and your doctors'. The rest of the time you can work; that should make your boss happy.

Sleeping and exercise more sound like good advice! Put 100% in while you do work, and spend as much time quality as you can with your wife ( Which means listening more for most men). Take some time for yourself, and forget yesterday!

I say go on a vacation all alone. You can rest, excersize at your own pace. You can work too on a laptop. You can call your wife. But have some time although short all to your self! Escape to your sanity. Sorry you must return to the madness, but you will be well rested.
