People think Elvis is still alive because he was an Icon to so many and they can't accept the truth that would mean their days of glory are over the days of old finished it was a sudden death just as the death of Frank Sinatra this man was an Icon of all Icons I can list a number of great entertainers we have lost the media makes millions off people who can't believe they count on the mentally unstable, the curious to watch their In search of specials, Elvis was spotted is he really dead special, there are some excellent Elvis impersonators they would make Elvis doubt his own true identity

because some people get pleasure of saying something and someone else will repeat it. By the time it gets around, people think maybe there is some truth in these rumours. Stupid I know but that's what I think.

They have nothing better to do with their lives. The guy was a country boy that just happened to hit it big, became addicted to drugs, lived a sad life. Why should anyone treat him like a god is beyond me. I never cared for his music or his movements.

I know what you mean! I have the same question...why can´t people just accept the fact that he´s dead? It´s the same thing with Glen Miller...he died when he disappeared!
